Those of you who haven’t seen me or Heather lately may not be aware that we’re expecting another addition to the family. The baby is due in early June and we’re expecting a boy!
A few weeks ago we went in for an ultrasound and, unlike last time, we decided to find out what gender the baby is. We did this mostly for Elizabeth’s benefit – so she can mentally prepare for whatever’s coming. I was excited to find out that we’re having a boy. Heather wasn’t surprised since the baby had been pummeling her insides for a few weeks already, in a way that Elizabeth never had. Elizabeth wanted a sister, but she seems to gave grown accustomed to the idea of a boy. We don’t have a name picked out yet, so we call him “Little Boy Blue.” Anyway, we’re a little nervous about going back to dealing with an infant, but we’re excited nonetheless.
